Cautions and Contraindications:

This formula is contraindicated during pregnancy and nursing. Patients with weak digestive systems may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances and may need to reduce the dosage. Use with caution in patients who are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapies such as Coumadin (warfarin).

The following warning statement is required by the State of California: “This product contains Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei). Read and follow directions carefully. Do not use if you have or develop diarrhea, loose stools, or abdominal pain because Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health.
